What does "per user" mean?

Each user on a managed plan includes their primary devices (laptop, desktop, phone). Additional devices beyond the standard allowance can be added for a small per-device fee. We'll outline exact device counts in your custom quote.

Is there a setup fee?

Yes — a one-time onboarding fee covers documentation, agent deployment, identity hardening, and baseline backup configuration. The exact amount depends on your environment and is included in your custom proposal.

Are M365 licenses included?

No. Microsoft licenses are billed separately at Pax8 list pricing. We don't mark them up — we make our money on management, not licensing games.

Do you require long-term contracts?

Managed plans are month-to-month after the first year. Break-Fix is purely pay-as-you-go.

What are your response times?

Critical (down): 30 min. High (impaired): 2 hr. Normal: same business day. Low: next business day. Managed + Security gets 24/7 priority on critical incidents.

Do you bill mid-month for new users?

No proration. Adds and removes apply on the 1st of the next billing cycle. Predictable invoicing, no surprises.
